Deuteronomy 1:8- "See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--and to their descendants after them." Today is a landmark day in the short history of New Walk. Today we completed a contract to possess our new land, a land that will shine as a SOUL-WINNING place in our community. The address is 35008 State Road 54 in Zephyrhills. The property will provide us with: - A nearly 40,000 square foot facility.
- Just under 1000-seat auditorium to worship.
- A large youth center to be designed by, and for our students in our community and to be the place that God uses for explosive life-change in East Pasco.
- Incredible rooms for exciting children’s ministry work and education.
Although it will now take time to raise the money needed to build this facility, we can now know where the next step for New Walk will be. In the mean time, we still have a great place to worship at the YMCA. As time goes on, we must remain committed as a church to bringing excellence in ministry and honoring God in every moment… in every opportunity! We still must stay focused on One-Degree as well. Also… Great News about our existing facility: We will be turning the sanctuary in the coming months to run horizontally and not vertically (as it is today) and this will make it possible to add at least 100 more adults in every service! This means even more people will meet Jesus in our current facility. We may even have room for even more seats after we add the 100, but this is 300 more adult seats when you add 100 seats for each of the 3 services!!
